Outdoor cooking on a stove
Do you want to get more out of your Trangia stove? Do you need to be inspired about what can be prepared on a stove? Or maybe you have never used a stove before? No matter what, this is the workshop for you! Welcome to a wonderful workshop in the middle of nature. Together we hike along a part of Kärsöleden. The path runs along the water around the southern part of Kärsön and offers nice views out over Lake Mälaren and Drottningholm castle. Halfway through the hike, we stop for an approximately 2-hour workshop where we prepare and enjoy a three-course menu cooked on a stove. You’ll get tips and tricks to succeed with your outdoor cooking and learn about different types of stoves and types of fuel.

Please note
In case of rain, we set up protection during the workshop. Dress according to the weather conditions and feel free to bring a seat pad. All ingredients are included and all equipment is available to borrow, but if you have your own stove that you wish to test, feel free to bring it. Any dietary restrictions must be announced when booking. VAT will be added when booking for/as a company.

The location
Kärsön, Stockholm
We meet in the parking lot at Kärsögården, at the far end of Kärsön.Travel by municipality:Take the metro's green line to Brommaplan metro station. Then bus with direction Ekeröarna, Get off at the bus stop "Brostugan" (approx. 5 min). The road on Kärsön turns down to the left in front of the bus stop (there is a walkway under the carriageway). Signposted on the way to "Kärsögårdens Aktivitetscenter". Pass café Brostugan, follow the road through the forest down to the water, about 10 minutes on foot.Own bus / car:Drive towards Drottningholm / Ekerö from Brommaplan. Across the Nockeby Bridge, the first exit road to the left. At Brostugan, turn right up the hill. The car park is on the right side diagonally opposite the yellow houses.
