Among other things, there are monuments to the sinking of the Vasa ship and the Estonia monument. Tivoli Gröna Lund was founded by the German Jacob Schultheis in 1883. The site had long served as a collection point for garbage. In the beginning, young maids and sales assistants came to visit the funfair and the dance floor. When Jacob dies, the operation is taken over by his son Gustaf who, among other things, builds Babylon, the first Lustiga huset. When a new amusement park opens across the street, fighting breaks out. The city walk ends with a visit to the long and wide street and the old Djurgårdsvarvet. Authorized tourist guide and Health care guide. I organize Forest Baths and City Walks in Stockholm, Uppsala and Västerås. I love combining experiences with the pulse of the city and the peaceful atmosphere of nature. Walking from a noisy city with many impressions one day and crawling through bushes and grass and hugging trees the next allows me to replenish my store of energy.
