Carving with children - basic course at LIDA Friluftsgård

Learn the basics of carving together with your child! Perhaps you have a child who wants to learn to carve but lacks the skills to give instructions so that the carving will be safe and enjoyable? Or do YOU want to teach your children to carve but don't know how to introduce carving? Either way, this is the course for you. During 90 minutes you (and your child) will learn basic grips and techniques for working with wood. When the workshop is finished, you as an adult should feel safe guiding your child further in wood carving. Participating children should feel safe with the knife as a tool and inspired to carve on their own but with the presence of an adult.
