Hike in Söderåsen National Park with a local guide
Join a hike in the deciduous forest and visit some of the national park's most beautiful places. We walk at a leisurely pace on existing trails and we have really nice company of ancient mountain geese, running clean water from springs and streams and a deciduous forest that is allowed to develop freely. All around us there is also a rich teeming animal life, mostly on a micro level with small insects and things we hardly see. The animals we see and hear vary depending on the season, but birds move in the area all year round. The whole trip takes two and a half hours and then I count on a coffee break at a suitable place. You need to be able to go off-road and on slopes even if we don't go at a high pace. You will learn more about the coolest things about the national park, about cultural history, geology, species that live there and how health is affected by being in nature. We talk about what we see and experience together. I, Britta, am a certified nature guide and have worked as a nature guide at naturum Söderåsen. Basically, I am a conservation biologist and am passionate about diversity and people's contact with nature. During the tour, I share what I love most about the national park and hope my commitment to nature will rub off on you.

We go regardless of the weather so dress for the weather. Above all, you need comfortable and sturdy shoes because we walk in certain terrain and in areas that are sometimes muddy or wet. Let us know in the registration if you can't stand anything in terms of coffee. Let me know if you or anyone you bring with you has anything else you think I should know about, like an illness or allergy or similar.
My name is Britta Levin, who runs the company and I am a flower grower, biologist and nature guide. I live only a few kilometers from the national park. I am passionate about offering time and space for creation close to nature and to be more in the heart and less in the brain. I am basically a conservation biologist and for many years have worked with environmental issues and for some time at naturum Söderåsen. I offer courses and workshops in, for example, flower arranging and because I am also a nature guide and want to contribute to promoting people's contact with nature and themselves, I give guided tours in both protected and unprotected nature.
